This T43p was purchased from Bill Morrow. The unit is in great condition (showing only signs of use on keyboard), and it is under warranty until April 27, 2008. I upgraded the RAM to 2GB, and it is otherwise as I received it from Bill. I have the original box, etc.
The specifications of the unit:
Original description: P M 770, 2GB RAM, 60GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 128MB ATI FireGL V3200, CDRW/DVD, 802.11abg wireless(MPCI), Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, Fingerprint Reader, 9c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro
I am not set up to receive funds through PayPal, but I can probably muster a few references from others around here if necessary. I could not find much of a recent history here of T43p sales, so I am not real confident in the pricing. I see on EBay that refurbished models with similar specifications (and less RAM) are going for $1,150, and I suspect that most people would rather have mine with the 2GB of RAM, the extendable real warranty, etc. than one of those.
In any event, I am now asking $950 shipped within the continental U.S.
If anyone has any questions or needs any additional information, please let me know.
Thanks.

I bought my second R50p from Rex and I could not have been happier about that transaction. I had bought my first R50p from Thinkpadworld on eBay and Rex was obviously a much more professional seller.

By the way, several people have asked--the screen is very nice and appears to have no dead pixels.
Also, I can include a ThinkPad Dock II for a very nominal additional charge, if interested. The ThinkPad Dock II is the big dock with one half-size PCI card slot, two Type I/II (or as one Type III) PC CardBus slots, and an Ultrabay 2000 for additional device expansion, such as optical drives or a second hard disk drive. (The dock is out of warranty.)
Please let me know if you are interested.

I have decided to sell either this T43p (2668-G5U), which has a 14" SXGA+ screen, or our other T43p (2668-H1U), which has a 15" UXGA screen.
I will be perfectly happy with whichever one does not sell. Both units have beautiful screens, although a 15' UXGA screen is tough to beat. Both have been upgraded to 2GB of RAM, and both a still under factory warranty, although the T43p (2668-H1U) does not expire until 2010!
Please keep the questions coming.

VERY FAIR price. I bought my T43p on ebay a weeks ago and it cost $1180. Doesn't have Fingerprint on it or IBM warranty left, its a 2668-G3U, I guess one ministep down
This should go like hotcakes.

I should be driving up to Dallas sometime soon and might want to pick up one of them. (Houston). What kind of a schedule do you keep - weekdays / weekends?

To answer one of the common questions I have been receiving, this has not been a "travel" machine. Although the size of the T43p's with 14 inch screens works well for travel, almost all of this unit's usage has been in the home office environment.
In light of the changes in the marketplace, I have reduced the asking price to $1075 plus shipping, but I am motivated to sell, so please let me know if you are interested.
