Some of you might have seen where I took advantage of the excellent deals last week that techonweb.com had on a couple of Top Seller X61 tablets. I opened one of them and used it for about a week, and although I absolutely love it, I am faced with the fact that I never use the tablet features. I pretty much knew going in that I wouldn't, but now it seems like a waste to have it and not use it. So, I will go ahead and put it up forsale.
It's a 7767-B7U-I received it last Tuesday (7/24/07) and used it a good bit the first few days, but not much since this weekend. It still looks absolutely brand new (because it is!) with no marks at all. Even the Thinkvantage sticker is still on the LCD cover. I have the original box, manuals, plastic packaging-it's all there. It has the full Lenovo 3 year depot warranty, and I have never registered the unit. Here are the specs:
1.6GHz L7500 Core 2 Duo low voltage processor with 4MB L2 cache
2GB RAM
120GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
12.1" XGA Multitouch/Multiview screen
Windows Vista Business
1GB Turbo Memory
Intel X3100 integrated graphics
Intel 802.11 abgn
Bluetooth
56k Modem
1GB Ethernet
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
8 cell extended battery
Three year depot warranty
I will also include a X6 Tablet Ultrabase that I just bought from PC Connection a few days ago. I have used it once. It does NOT include any sort of optical drive.
I bought this from techonweb.com for $1550.xx shipped. If you look now at their site, the price is back up to $1929.41 and it is in stock. If you configure it on Lenovo's site, it will come close to $2200 if you have to pay tax-maybe a bit less if you have some special coupons or other discount methods. An Ultrabase for a tablet will cost you anywhere from $170-200.
My price for everything is $1650 shipped via UPS Ground insured in the U.S. Pictures are available upon request. I *MAY* also consider trades for a new T60 or T60p Core 2 Duo with SXGA+ 14.1" 4:3 screens-NO WIDESCREENS! I already have a T60p widescreen that I may be selling soon because I don't like the added weight and size. Let me know what you have and I might consider it.
