#1 Post by roblim » Wed Aug 01, 2007 5:32 pm

ThinkPad X32 Notebook / 2884A2U

(1.6GHz Pentium M Centrino , 512MB RAM, 40GB, Windows XP Pro, Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection, Bluetooth, 12.1" TFT)

Asking Price: $650 shipped USPS Priority w/ delivery confirmation.

Life: Screen and body are in excellent condition. Never been damaged, dropped, or repaired. Some shininess on keyboard. Small speck of dust trapped in the LCD. No dead or stuck pixels. I use a microfiber keyboard protector to minimize any scratches on the LCD. It is a very clean ultra-portable notebook computer. Battery holds a substantial charge—over two hours. Non–smoker.

System Restore CDs are included. I have performed a restore and the x32 will arrive ready for you to create a user account in XP.

I welcome questions or offers: robby818@yahoo.com

Thanks. :)

Not many people sell X32, it looks almost new too, should be gone in no time.

On a sidenote, please blur out your serial number to avoid anyone reporting your machine as stolen/missing to lenovo.

That's an excellent price for a relatively rare Thinkpad!

Yeah, the last was sold for something like $850 about half a year ago.

I bought one here 4 months ago very similar but without hard drive or RAM, for $509 plus shipping, so this is in the same ball park.

I could not resist such a nicely maintained X32. I truly appreciate folks like roblim who keep their equipment in good condition. And I really look forward to this computer.

My X31 of four years fell five feet and pancaked absolutely flat, as parts shot out in every direction. I nearly cried. Worse, my new X61 tablet does not impress me. I want my X31 back!!!

I wish Lenovo would get a clue. Indestructible, quality computers with perfect keyboards. Can it be any simpler?

Ok. So I do love the SXGA+ screen, and I like the tablet feature a lot. But the screen bezel is already separating (weak glue?), and the keyboard is a serious step down from the X31. Sigh.....

OK, sold! Thanks for the interest everyone and the kind words about the x32. It's going to a good home and will probably see many more years of service.

FYI: I am changing the title of this thread to remove the "PLEASE DELETE". We generally don't delete threads when items have been sold, because they are generally quite useful when gaging the prices acrossed the board. Furthermore, suppose the buyer or seller has a problem, then there is no way to determine what was listed, and what wasn't.
