OK, here's the project # 2 machine: another A22P with 1Gig Pentium 3 processor, up for quick grabs...

The good:
Good overall condition for a ThinkPad of this age, boots with a borrowed HDD, keyboard and screen in excellent condition. Perfectly usable in this condition even without unlocking the BIOS.

The bad: BIOS is locked by a password that I don't know, so you can't make any changes to it. There are quite a few scratches on the lid and some sticker residue, most of which can be cleaned to the best of my belief.

Other:

This laptop will come missing the following parts:

- Hard disk drive, caddy and cover
- AC Adapter
- Media drive (apart from fixed 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive)

A working battery and a single 128Mb RAM chip will be included with this unit.

Asking $100 firm plus reasonable shipping dependant on your location, but should be no more than $10-12 within the lower 48 states.

As always, any inquiries-including the international ones-are welcome.

PM with any questions and/or concerns. I'm away this week and may not respond immediately, but I do promise to answer within 24 hours.

Bios lock is in my opinion a very big no-no on a Pentium 3 machine if one wants to be in this price range.

Just my opinion, obviously. Screen sounds nice, though.

I always appreciate a good sense of humour, especially from a fellow forum member...

BIOS lock.. <Moderator snip>. It costs more than that to replace a screen with failing backlight. But thanks for the bump.

And the machine is pending sale.
