I'm looking to sell or trade away the T42 I bought from another forum member. It has a 1.5ghz CPU, 256mb RAM, 15" XGA LCD, DVD ROM drive, Intel 2200BG wireless, battery and a dead motherboard. It only POSTs when it wants to (not often) and when it actually does boot, the slightest knock or bump will cause the laptop to lock up and require a reboot. The screen shows a good picture and is great to look at. Text is very readable and the screen is overall, very easy on the eyes. The rubber paint on the lid has minor imperfections but nothing too bad.
$150 or best offer. Will also trade for any decent shape barebones T2x or A2x (excluding 12" models) that POST. PM me if interested.

Sometimes this diagnostic completes and the ThinkPad will start and other times the ThinkPad will not start.
At least this is what this means to me. Anyone feel free to add or subtract.

I'd be more than happy to consider my listed T23, plus some cash for the T42...though, I know that the OCD thing might get in the way of the imperfections on my T23.
Hopefully, when I get home, I can fix the charging issue on the T23, which will increase its value...
