PRICE REDUCED TO $230 + actual shipping!(from $270)

I really have no use for this rare bird, although it's very likely as nice as they come, and could be someone's cheap ticket to the world of three-spindle-machines with IPS/FlexView screens...an immaculate one this is, and whole package for under $300...

ThinkPad A30 2652-33U

Original description: PIII-M 1.0GHz (512KB), 128MB RAM, 30.0GB HDD, 15.0 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD, 8x-2.3x DVD, Modem (CDC), Ethernet (CDC), TV out, Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

This one comes with 256Mb (single stick) of RAM, CD-RW/DVD combo drive and 40Gb/5400rpm Travelstar HDD.

Known imperfections:

- minor wear and tear on the lid (way under average)
- no COA

I'd rate this machine somewhere between 8.8 and 9 on a 1-10 scale. No worn keys, but a few shiny spots on the keyboard. Screen is delicious, and in great shape. Battery seems to be holding a good charge.

Since the COA has been swiped, it can either come with "Linux of the day special" , or booting to a C: prompt. Choice is yours.

Asking $230 firm plus reasonable shipping depending on your location. I do ship worldwide and accept most payment methods.

Feel free to PM me for high-resolution pictures, or with any questions and/or concerns that you might have.

Woah, sweet offer!

If you have the original description saying that the machine came with Win XP, why don't you sell it with Win XP? I guesss what I am saying is, who needs the stupid CoA if everyone knows MS once sold a copy of Win with the computer?

This is probably a completely naive question; I don't know anything about the matter.

Unfortunately, the problem is that in order for the install to be legitimate, the CoA has to be present on the machine or in the owner's possession.

A30's are super machines and can actually hold up to 3 internal drives if necessary (with Ultrabay drive carriers). They make very good media servers (esp. w/SXGA+ displays) and are very handy for imaging disks.

Very nice machine.
