i'll measure it, but that shouldn't matter should it? this is just the black cover that goes over the hard drive, about 1/2 inch tall and as wide as the 2.5" hard drive

It DOES matter.Covers are NOT the same. Check your model # on Lenovo website instead of measuring it....

this is what the ibm web site tells me
