Edit: It ends 8-11-2009 (August 11, 2009 - Thanks KristianJ)

Condition - no flaws I can detect on either the screen, keyboard, or body. Normal wear - a small scratch or two on the lid. The recovery partition (XP Pro) is intact.

General information about this machine - It has the Intel 915 video chipset. It does not support DVI out. Overall it's a great looking and running machine. Comes with the A/C adapter. For any Linux fans out there, this machine runs OpenSUSE 10.2 like a speed demon, including Beryl over AIGLX with full 3D effects. It will also run Vista, but not Aero due to a chipset limitation. It's perfect for Vista Business edition.

$700 US. Firm.
If you want a port replicator II for it - add $30.
If you want the original 40GB HD - subtract $50.
If you want a 9-cell battery in addition to the 6-cell - add $70.

International buyers welcome - Payment - PM me for details.

Continental US buyers welcome - Payment - Paypal Non-CC or USPS money order only. Buyer pays actual USPS shipping with insurance and signature/delivery confirmation to your zipcode.

Harry, assuming this is the R52 you bought from underclocker, one of his posts in his FS thread has the warranty date listed as 8-11-2009. If it's not, then it's not  The more I see lovely machines like this listed with such lovely 7200rpm hard drives, the more I wish I could find them more easily here in Sydney.

Thanks KristianJ, it is indeed the same one. I'll ship this one to Australia no problem. I just shipped one to Melbourne last week. :)

That is a sweeeet machine! Nice HD upgrade! It was fast before and it must fly now!

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Somebody that doesn't need DVI out will be very happy.

(P.S. My T41p is gone.)

Thanks underclocker, no need for apologies. I should have done my research prior to going into the deal...LOL.

As I saw - but sadly I'm not in the financial position to even consider it right now, plus my T42 serves me well :) All it needs is a 7200rpm drive and I'd be set (at least for a few months :P )

I see, well stay tuned for a possible used (but only a few weeks old) 7K100 ;). I'll PM you first if it becomes available.

That would be great!! :D I've all but sold my T23 locally to finance a few necessary upgrades (I hand it over to the buyer this afternoon), so I'll try and hold out and see what you might have to offer.

Potential international buyers might want to know that this R52 (of the 1860-series) is indeed covered by international IBM warranty, according to International warranty service (IWS).
