On ebay now.

Brand new OEM, sealed in the box. Not a recalled unit, or refurbished, or generic.

I am not keeping my T61, so I decided to not even open the ultra battery.

6 -27 -2007 manufactured date, as fresh as you can get from Lenovo.

Made in japan: part: 40Y6789

$110 shipped. Firm

"Operates and recharges in the Ultrabay media bay of ThinkPad T61, R61, T61P, T60 Series, Z60 Series, and select R60 Series notebooks or the ThinkPad X6 UltraBase "

just out of curorsity, it say on lenovo website that this is a 3 cell battery, how can it achieve 'double' the battery power combined with lets say a 9 cell battery on a T61?

I think the battery chemistry for the ultrabay batteries is a bit different from the main ones (Li-polymer for ultrabay vs. Li-ion). You should note that the ultrabay batteries supposeldy have a lesser lifetime than the main ones (from what I have heard, maybe someone can confirm this).

yeah, definitely plus the fact that the system drains the UltraBay battery first runs up it's usage and kills it off faster than anything.

It doesn't add double but maybe 2hrs max of usage which might be handy for some people.

I've got a 9-cell and this slim battery in my T60. It does die quickly (capacity falls each use).
