I am looking for a parts T4x (dont PM me with offers for any other series please) for a student I know. I need it in about 2 weeks time since school is going to start soon (this is for a project). Her maximum budget is about $150, depending on what works and what does not.

The comsetic condition of the laptop need just to be ok, I am not looking for a machine to repair/replenish. LCD needs to work, even faulty motherboard is OK - the cheaper the machine the better. Size is immaterial, though 14" is preferred. No need for RAM/HDD/wireless either. CPU speed is immaterial, low end banias is good.

I know it is hard to find a machine like this here, but I prefer asking here than going the ebay route. However, if someone can point me towards a decent ebay seller, that would be fine too.

I may have something, but I'm not sure what you're looking for, is a dead motherboard OK or not?

I have an extra 6-cell batter (8 Wh full charge) and a DVD-Rom drive if you're interested. $7 and $12 respectively.

Ed, how much for that? PM me with your price and we can discuss. I am open to that option too!
