when getting offers, be sure to verify that the particular atheros wifi card will work in your X31..
it must be one of a small range and it must be an ibm version..
(unless a way has been found to bypass this requirement)

I performed the no-1802 cmos hack but do I need to use a specific model number still or would most of these atheros cards work?

Bump. :)

Would like to purchase one that is confirmed to work on a X31. I see that some work on the X30/X32 yet not the X31, at least according to ebay.

For those in search of a very quiet HDD, this is the best available - see e.g. the Silent PC Review lowest-noise reference HDD's or 2.5" HDD noise comparison. "Slow"... but super silent!

Thank you for the information. It is indeed virtually silent. I posted a picture from HDTune so people can get an idea of its specs in terms of speed.

USPS money orders only. Will only ship within the U.S.
You've been trying to sell for a month now, and I'm just wondering if the above doesn't have something to do with that. Such limitations automatically exclude many potential buyers.

Actually, I've been trying to sell it since Sept. 7/8th. I am fully aware that some people only use Paypal, I don't. I also wish to not start shipping overseas for such a low priced item. Thanks for your concern however.
