My guess? I would imagine a base model T40 like I have should fetch at *least* 250-300 in top condition like you wanted. Just my opinion, but I would think that is a decent ballpark figure.

Lately, good T40's with all the pieces have sold in the $275-$300 range on eBay and here.
The issue is that not many people sell perfectly fine T40's that are stripped. I suppose that $225 and up would be reasonable, but they wil be hard to find.

Thanks for the replys.I was thinging 200.00 for a T40 and up from there.
I guess when i save a few more $$$ from the next few pay checks , i'll be looking for a nice T4x in the $350.00 range.I should be able to find a low end one for that.

You can probably find a barebone machine for $200, but you have to look and look and look, and it's going to be a gamble either way...
You're probably better off saving a few bucks and getting something decent here...and no, I don't have a T40 for sale...
All the best.

I agree, you're much better off with a complete T40 or R50/R51 for $350. There many available in this price range, pick carefully. If you get lucky you'll find one with G wifi and a little extra memory - maybe even ATI 9000 video
