WTB: T42 Notebook (w/14.1'' SXGA)

I am looking for a T42 1.6 or up (Dothan).

I was looking at T41's but heard that there are semi-frequent GPU problems and motherboard issues. Is there a reason I should still look into T41's?

I also like that I have the ultrabay and all other accessories from a T43 and can use them with a T4x. I wish I could use them with an X...

I had a T43 with a 1.8Ghz Dothan and 1GB of RAM and 64MB Video Card. If I went with a T41, would the slower processor (and lower L2 Cache), bus speed, and smaller graphics card make a noticable difference?

I secured a local sale but the seller had to go out of town. I sort of need one quick as I am laptopless and my daughter's christening is saturday. Guess who has to do the music...

So, i'd prefer to get one locally (New York City) but would consider shipment.
