Sir, please calm down, bumping your thread daily is not going to help your cause. If there is any member on this forum willing to sell, that user will post.

Thanks.

One question!

If I purchase a laptop in US, how much tax and duty should I pay to the swedish custom? say 1000USD laptop.

Sir, I honestly believe Swedish customs decide these things. You should ask your local customs office about their policy on imposing taxes on importing goods into your country.

Hi, In most countries in europe, like in the netherlands. You will get a sales taxes custom tariff. This means, if you sales tax is, for example in the netherlands is 19%, you will have to pay this over the amount of the laptop and the shipping costs. So 1000 dollar is about 734 euro's. BUT shipping is lets say 100 buks, so 73 euro's.

Your amount will be:
734
73
+
807
Times
1.19
=
960,33 euro's.

My guest is always, that you can say every dollar is an euro after taxes.

Bummer but true.

Have you considered Euclid Computers?

Yes, I have already contacted them, the porblem is they would not send the item to me with a GIFT tag which could reduce the tax for me, otherwise I need to pay a lot.

No company ANYWHERE will send you a laptop tagged "GIFT" because they'd be breaking the law, quite severely in some countries. So you'll have to deal with a private seller.

On another note, no seller in his right mind will accept PayPal from anywhere but USA, Canada or UK, otherwise he/she is at the risk of giving the laptop away along with the shipping costs.

Good luck.
