Crucial 1GB PC2700 from Newegg

#1 Post by kimo » Sun Sep 02, 2007 9:37 pm

I got an email last night from newegg.com which contained a $5 off coupon for a Crucial 1Gb PC2700 memory. THe ram is on sale right now for $74.99. It's a great deal, but a better deal with the coupon. Free UPS 3-day shipping as well.

Here's the link - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145068

If you guys signed up for Newegg newsletter emails, you should check to see if you got this.

Anyone willing to buy and ship one of these for a Dane?

#2 Post by Johan » Mon Sep 03, 2007 7:22 am

Thanks for sharing this information!

I would be (very!) happy to be able to take advantage of this offer; I exactly need this 1 GB PC2700 for a T42. The problem however is, that I am in Denmark, and Newegg won't ship international. If any forum member therefore intends to order one or more of these 1 GB sticks, and would be willing to order one more on behalf of me, and ship it to me (both order and shipment pre-paid, of course; no track-and-trace shipment needed, just a simple envelope!), this would be extremelt appreciated. I am able to pay using e.g. PayPal.

Well, not that we don't have RAM in Denmark (we do!), but the price is not this attractive! :-)

So... who gets to be the first to accept my above "offer"? I am now very excited waiting for the big rush to begin! :-)

Thank you in advance, if...

Best regards,

Johan

i would share the coupon, but it was a one-time use only, and i used it towards the stick mentioned above.

Second and last try
: With respect to my above question, I am still interested if someone, who are going to order this RAM for themselves, would also be willing (and kind!) to order one stick on behalf of me. If not, well - then that's the way it is! Again: "Thanks in advance!" :-)

Best regards,

Johan

PayPal charges $0.30 + 2.9% of transaction amount, and then additional 1% cross-border fee. USPS First-Class International mail is about $10. That brings your total to above $90.

If you are still interested, PM me. I am still trying to decide if I should upgrade from 1.5GB RAM to 2GB, or save the money for a new system. I am running WinXP Pro SP2 with no Paging File, and I haven't been even close to running out of memory.
