I'm looking for an adapter to attach an Ultrabay Slim drive into a R51 Ultrabay Enhanced opening. Is there such anything adapter?
Thanks,
Ron

If I'm reading your question right, I believe you can pop any UltraBay Slim device into any UltraBay Enhanced slot.
In other words, R5x's take all T4x drives - no need for any mods or adapters. Does that help?
(There is an adapter available to use an UltraBay Enhanced and possibly an UltraBay Slim drive in an Ultrabay 2000 slot.)

Yes, that will help a lot. I had read that Ultrabay Enhanced laptops need an adapter to have a Ultrabay Slim drive used in it.
Thanks and I hope it works,

Ron, I use T6X drives all the time in my R52. The bezel doesn't look pretty but it works.

Ron, I can also confirm that T4x all slim drives work in the enhanced drive of the R5x ... no adapter is needed.
