Note that I am doing this as a favor to anyone that might have missed out on the recent labor day sale coupon-I can return the machine with no charge, but before I do I am going to wait ONE DAY to see if anyone here might want it.

Last week during when the Labor Day sale started, I placed an order for a T61p with the 14.1" SXGA+ screen. Due to an error on Lenovo's website, the 20% off coupon did not show in the final invoice. So I placed an order for another machine and this time the coupon took.

I e-mailed Lenovo about the coupon not showing on the first one, and of course they will credit the 20% back to my account as soon as I receive the unit and call them back. A couple of days later, I called to cancel this laptop, but it was too late-it had already shipped. However, the CSR at Lenovo said since I did try to cancel I can return it no problem without any restocking fee.

Here are the specs:
Thinkpad T61p 8891-CTO
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHZ T7500
1GB DDR2 RAM
80GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
14.1" SXGA+ 4:3 screen
Nvidia FX570M Video with 128MB
1GB Intel Turbo Memory
Windows Vista Home Premium
Fingerprint reader
Bluetooth
8X DVD-RW DL Burner
Intel 4965 AGN Wireless
6 cell battery
Three year depot warranty

If you send me payment via cashier's check/money order, your total will be $1448 shipped in the US. If you pay via Paypal, I must add 3% to cover the fees, otherwise I lose money on this. The total with Paypal payment is $1492 shipped.

Take note-as of today, this same exact configuration is $1838 plus sales tax on Lenovo's website. You can save around $500 if you buy this from me!

If you are SERIOUSLY interested please let me know immediately. The laptop arrives here in about two hours and I will wait about a day before I call Lenovo to have them pick it back up for a full refund. Note I am just trying to help someone out that may have missed the sale and I am not trying to make anything off of it.

I will take it.

Just a note-this is only for buyers in the US, as it does not have a full international warranty.
