Hi! I bought an X31 from eBay, and the seller also included a brand new DVD-ROM ("DVD Multi Player") for ThinkPad docks (or bays or whatever you call them).

But my auction did not include a dock, so what do I need it for?

Seller advertised it as brand new. But I have no way to test it. But he had a high feedback rating, and it was shipped very well, and it has been sitting on my desk, so it should be fine.
