WTB: 128MB PC100 Micro-DIMM

#1 Post by KristianJ » Wed Sep 26, 2007 12:34 am

I've picked up a neat little Toshiba Portege 3480ct with 128MB RAM (64 inbuilt, 64 added) and found that it takes Micro-DIMM modules. Now I have no idea where to find them in Australia (inevitably they'd be very expensive), so I was wondering whether anyone on the forum had any. A pic of what a Micro-DIMM looks like is seen here in case you're not familiar with the name but have the product.

Having no idea what such modules are worth in a used condition, please PM me with asking price (remembering I'm in Australia). I have PayPal funds to spare and can pay immediately if the price is affordable.

Thanks in advance :)

The most common part for that application would be (Kingston) KTT-MD100/128. I see a few other modules that fit on EBay ...

Thanks for the links, Harry. I had a feeling that it may be a difficult task ahead for me and that I may have to perhaps roll back the OS (all I have though to spare is a copy of Windows ME) and be content with the 128. I'll see what transpires though. :)
