Are you considering shipping to the netherlands? i have a lot of positive feedback, and bought a lot of computers here. I would really like to replace my T41p with your t60p.

To tell you the truth, I am not sure how to safely ship to the Netherlands. The shipping would be more I am sure.... but not sure what carrier and insurance, etc.

I've shipped to Toine in the Netherlands before. A+ guy to deal with.
You want to ship via USPS EXPRESS GLOBAL. That way it can be fully tracked and insured.
For a laptop, it will probably cost about $60-100 (you can look up the cost online if you guestimate the weight).
Oh, also declare the laptop as a "Gift" on the customs form so he doesn't get reamed on the VAT/tax.

I second. Shipping to Europe, when having a trustworthy buyer, is a pleasure and a piece of cake. I've never personally dealt with the gentleman in question, but he has an excellent reputation from what I can gather.
However, if the buyer really wants to skip paying taxes/VAT/customs duty/etc. the item should be declared as "parts laptop" and should NOT ship insured. That type of decision I always leave up to the buyer, because if it is shipped insured, they will be charged customs duty etc. according to the value that the machine has been insured for. And the amounts are significant...my last buyer in Netherlands paid 80 euros for a machine that had a declared value of $175 inclusive of shipping...
Best of luck with the sale and feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding selling and shipping internationally.
