This sounds like an absolute magic carpet in 14" form, with plenty of warranty left as a bonus...should sell quickly.

Best of luck, although I doubt you'll need it with machine this loaded.

Good luck with your sale.

I was looking for someone with this processor powered ThinkPad. I know you are selling it. Can you describe how fast it is compared to say a lowly T2500?

I do very basic work - web browsing, text editing for which a pentium M running at 600Mhz suffices. So unfortunately I cant give an answer from experience. But I would expect 30-40% faster than a T2500. Reason: I belive C2Ds are about 15% faster than Core Duos, and also this one has 4MB of L2 cache compared to 2MB for T2500. Then there is the 16.5% increased clock speed.. So, it'll be around 1.15x1.16 -1 = 33% faster.

Yes, me too. I wonder if these are brand new or what, like out of the box or still in the boxes. Do they both have batteries and stuff.

Both have batteries/adapters; but do not come in original boxes.
The second one looks almost new out of the box. First one has streak marks on the lid as I mentioned and show in the pics.

2008-CTO, so unfortunately it wont help.

But everything is stock, no aftermarket upgrades, I believe, since warranty & parts lookup give the same specs.

Do you still have the boxes? They might be worth something.

Your ThinkPads seem almost brand new.

Do you know if ThinkPad protection (accidental warranty) can be added or is it too late?

Thanks

Ah yes, the legendary T60/P's :). Brute power plus beauty, almost like a late model sports car :). Good luck with the sale.
