Sold: One SXGA+ w/80GB 7200rpm T40 in very good condition. Upgrades include SXGA+ LCD, new 7200rpm drive, memory, & IBM Intel 2915 a/b/g adapter.
HPA with most recent image (XP Pro w/SP2) is in tact!
Large pix are here (Unit #1) -> *link removed*
Below I've included the initial configuration information and the upgrades that I've personally done.
It is in perfect operating condition - no video or USB or any kind of operating issues at all.
I would call the overall cosmetic condition very good. I am very particular, so I will provide the details. There is slight keyboard shine and only faint scratches on the plastics. The LCD had been upgraded via swap of entire screen assembly to SXGA+. The LCD on unit has a few small marks from pressure against the keyboard which are not noticeable when the computer is on or in use (unless you hold the unit at a strange angle to the light and look for them). There is also some uneven lighting (darker) toward the bottom middle of the LCD, you may be able to see it in the picture. The LCD brightness is good. No bad/stuck pixels. The dark area does not affect use, but may bother those that want a perfect LCD.
$370 plus actual shipping and insurance (no shipping charge for local pick up). I will pack very well for shipping.
That's a T40 with SXGA+, 80GB 7200rpm HDD & Intel a/b/g for $370!
I can accept PayPal, USPS M.O. or cash. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Overall, anyone should be happy with this upgraded T40, unless you're looking for a machine in mint condition.
