I'm looking for a Thinkpad T42p machine with reasonable price.

Some absolute requirements:
- 14" display + Ati Firegl 128 Mb graphics.
- Good appearance and error-free function.

About other requirements:
- maybe 1 gb ram, 2 GHz cpu
- can be without hdd
- UK, or Swedish keyb. layout would be nice.

To get an idea of the price-level for T42p's in the USA, check the eBay auction - ending in 7 hours!; a 14.1" 1.8 GHz T42p with these specs:

... which has been upgraded to 1.5 GB RAM. Even has Microsoft Office 2003, remaining warranty, which can be further extended. Worldwide shipping! NB: The original 9-cell battery has been replaced by a 6-cell, it seems. More quote: "The LCD has no dead pixels, great keyboard"...

Current price: $ 371,- (and, yes, 7 hours yet to go, but still...!). Hmmm... where and when will this ever be cheaper??
