I have a real nice R51 for sale. Out of warranty but clean. I would rate this a 9-9.5/10, slightly used but in excellent condition.

Model 2888-2WU
14.1" xga lcd excellent condition
2 x 512PC2700 ram = 1024 ram
40gb 5400 hd w/WinXP SP2
cdrw/dvd drive
4 hr+ battery
Intel 2200bg wireless card
56w ac adapter (don't have the 72w one)
keyboard very good condition

That looks beautiful with a good price too.

Perhaps you could list whether it has the ATI or Intel based graphics system. Some people may prefer one or the other.

The IBM model number should do it.

Just increased the ram to 1024 PC2700....

Fair? $350 minus $20 shipping minus $10 PayPal fees is $320.

$320 for a mint R51 with 1GB of RAM and a fresh battery, I'm going to say it's quite fair!

There are two things I like about this model, 1) it hibernates really quickly, maybe this is due to the integrated Intel chipset, and 2) the video is quick and no worries about the GPU coming loose, like with the ATI models, again due to the integrated Intel chipset. Go ahead pick it up with one hand in the middle!

I own two R51's currently and I've easily owned a dozen R5x's over the years. These are GREAT machines.
