I dont like Toshiba hard drive(i like Fujitsu better)
But the Toshiba is new and 5400rpm and16MB buffer but only 60 gig.

The Fujitsu is 80 gig but only 4200rpm and 8 MB buffer.Still one year warrenty left.

What price would you put on each of thease drives??

You can buy a brand new Toshiba 5400 60GB drive at newegg for $47. You can buy the Fujitsu on EBay for @ $40. Since the Fujitsu is 2 years old, take off 30% or $12. So say $28 for the Fujitsu. You'd definatley be better off with a newer 5400 rpm drive. Look at the cost if you're worried about quality.

Thanks Harryc.
I'm going to use the new 60gig in the laptop.
The 2 year old Fujitsu 80 gig i'll use in a external case.
I just bought a new 2.5" usb 2.0 external case off e-bay for $5.98usd shipped. That 4200 rpm drive will be good in the external case.
How did you make out or what ever happend with the whole thinkpad deal where you sent a Thinkpad and a moneyorder for trade of a thinkpad. It was a few months ago.
Did you ever get anything from that?
