I received 2 t40s whose warranties have recently expired...

I can get them extended for $149(1 year) $249(2 years) ...

If I intend to sell them in the next few months.... will I really see that much of difference in the selling price?

(If this is the wrong place for this question, please move to appropriate forum)

THANKS!!!!

You will probably only net $50 per year so it's not worth it in my opinion.

I would just sell them off and go from there if that's your intention.

On a T40, definitely not worth it...

I agree...it would only make a $50-75 difference in price. You can certainly include that it is eligible for the upgrade....

I agree with the others, they would sell more quickly and for more money with warranties, but you won't make up that much money on a T40 (or pretty much any machine for that matter).

And, as noted, the new buyers could always buy a warranty for the same price - since they have expired.
