SOLD, please lock!

Another fixed-up X30 for sale:

2672-41U
* 1.2 Ghz PIII-M
* 256 MB of PC133 RAM
* 40 GB disk
* Media slice with floppy (high-tech!)
* Decent battery (over half capacity)
* 56W AC adapter

Cosmetic condition is reasonable, overall:
* The keyboard is somewhat shiny, with no worn keys, and great tactical feel.
* The screen is very nice, with no obvious dead or stuck pixels.
* There is a crack in the lower-left corner of the palmrest, which was repaired by the previous owner, apparently using an entire tube of Super Glue. It's butt-ugly, but very sturdy.
* The left screen latch doesn't "spring" smoothly, but holds the screen closed fine.
* There is a crack in the lower-right corner of the LCD bezel.

OS is factory Windows 2000 load with COA and intact recovery partition.

Asking price is $225. I'll consider dropping the price if I think it's necessary.

Looking at the pictures it appears that this model of X30 is not wireless upgradeable due to the lack of the antenna on both sides of the lid. However you could find out how the aftermarket wireless system on the other X30 that jargoone sold operates and attempt to replicate it.

KristianJ is correct: this system does not have the factory wireless antenna system installed. The other X30 (which just sold) had a small "pigtail" type antenna installed underneath the keyboard. Like mentioned in the post, it works well enough. These are available on eBay.

I do have some extra antennas from a T40 that I'd be happy to include if you'd like to try to hack something together.

I'm really very sorry to be way off topic here, and if it is out of line, please have a moderator delete this message, but would it be possible for you to point at which wifi card works with the X30 off of ebay, I've spent hours searching the forums, and I find whitelists, a bios hack, etc, but nothing that really helps me get the correct card with antennas!
