SOLD

I have a two month old NEW T60 15.4" widescreen model available. The model number is 6371-7DU, and the spec's are below. It's a beautiful, fast machine.

It has a one year warranty which is good through 8-29-2008.

I've had it since the end of August, but have used it for less than one hour. I was considering replacing my T42, but decided against it due to the effort plus my other house full of ThinkPads still use the old style adapters and I'd rather not start switching to new machines yet.

I only added another 512MB (for 1GB total) and turned it on. I have all the original documentation and can include a beautiful new Targus carrying case, too. The battery has 0 cycles on it.

$675 plus shipping and insurance. PayPal, USPS M.O. or cash accepted (local pickup available).

Full Specifications (memory upgraded to 1GB);

Product: ThinkPad T60 6371-7DU

Original description: T2300E(1.66GHz), 512MB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 LCD, Intel 950, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro, AC Adapter

P.S. Usually I post pictures, and I can if someone needs to see it, but really, this is just a new machine that hasn't been used for two months.

Sri, you're wrong. Every single T43 that I've sold on this forum lately has sold for more than this....

I'm absolutely amazed that this one is still here...

Willing to ship to Canada? If so, how much?

Trying to keep this a U.S. sale due to 1) custom's taxes, 2) inability to insure and receive delivery confirmation outside the U.S.

I shipped a package to Canada last month via USPS Priority and the standard postage included a tracking number that gave very detailed info. I insured that package for $160 for a pretty small fee. The buyer didn't tell me whether he was charged any taxes, but prior to the transaction, he had assured me that it would be peanuts.

Is this a global warranty? If so, can you come down a bit more in price?
We live in Mexico but are in the US to visit family.

Just my opinion, but the current asking price seems to be quite good value for the age and claimed new condition of the laptop. I doubt the chances of the price coming down any further. Also, this sort of "open" negotiation is probably best left to PMs, since in the past when there has been a request for a seller to reduce their price, it's gotten slightly off track.

Regarding global warranty, typing the 6371 type into the search bar on this International Warranty Service page doesn't being up a result, so I would guess there is no global warranty available.
