WTB: Cheap T, R or 600 or other series laptop

#1 Post by asiafish » Wed Oct 31, 2007 3:30 pm

Looking for a very clean, but very cheap laptop to be used for simple email and word processing.

Minimum specs are 300MHz Pentium II, 128MB RAM and 20 GB hard drive. Far more important than specification is cosmetic and functional condition. I want something that is very clean and works with no issues. No cracks in plastics or glass, no missing keys and no floppy hinges.

I don't mind trackpoint marks on the screen or minor scuffs and scratches on the top and bottom covers, but all keys should be legible and the backlight should still be STRONG.

Oh yeah, ACTIVE MATRIX SCREEN and built-on optical drive are essential, as is a working battery with at least a 45 minute charge.

Let me know what you have and your asking price.

Dan,

This sounds like a very good proposition to me?

I would consider a T23 with High-Res to be an excellent find.

Cheap? Matter of opinion I guess what is cheap..............

Since I did not post a price, I am not sure how anyone could comment on whether it was cheap.

I also have a working A21p which also has a good battery I think that I am looking to move for $200 plus shipping. That's pretty cheap.
