SOLD: Acer 1640 laptop works, kinda.

Ok, the laptop is in decent shape, smudgy screen, light shine on the KB, heavy wear on palm rest and minor scratches and the paint on the 4 way thingy between the buttons is flaking off (Pics later)
Problem: computer does not always boot. Sometimes it boots and does not boot (fan spins, drives initiate, but no screen). If you press down on the right palm rest for a second after you press the power button it will boot and runs. I ran it in Linux off of a live cd and it was very responsive. I also disassembled the system 2 times to test and found nothing but i am not too skilled with micro electronics.
i would comment running it on XP but he had so much stuff on his computer that it was a nightmare to use it booted over 20 Apps on startup.
Specs: 1.7Ghz Intel Centrino CPU, 1Gb Ram (512X2) PC4200
Artheros 102.11bg Wifi Minipci card, Bluetooth (on chip on board)
1024X1280 widescreen LCD W Intel GMA 900 VGA card. touchpad mouse, good battery, power supply DVD+-RW double layer drive which would fit in my T20 but i didnt want to hack at the Drive cover to make it sit properly. EIDE Drive interface and drive caddy is included.
no passwords on the laptop
i am selling for a friend, and he let me keep the Drive for my T20/22 frankentop. he said he bought it in July of 06 and the warranty just ran out, so it isn't too old of a laptop, if anything it is good for the Accessories and then you can sell the rest on e-bay.
i will accept PayPal.

not too low but don't over offer. it's not worth any more then 250$ max. but i wouldn't pay that much for it.
Somewhere in the 100-200$ range sounds fair
