Agreed to purchase a HDD cover and caddy for 10.00, sent paypal 10/17, and not heard a word since.

PM's and E Mail unanswered..Paypal non delivery dispute opened.

Last post by compnerd4 appears to be 10/19. There may have been an accident, family emergency, or other "real life" incident which has taken priority.

Understand Ray, but my transaction with him/her was 2 days before the 19th..ample time to acknowledge payment receipt and to provide shipping details, none of which was done.

Ditto !! I have been trying since the 9/26. I sent payment and info. He pm'ed me back saying it would be sent out on 10/12. No pm's yet.

Not to hope for harm to compnerd4, but hopefully there was a pressing circumstance instead of mal-intent...

yes i would have to agree, pressing matters can complicate ones lives i would give more time and go ahead and buy your items elsewhere and get a refund from him when he returns.

I have been advised , in confidence, by a board member who is much more adept and sophisticated than I in tracing Web useage that seems to indicate that compnerd4 has been active on a another site as recently as Oct30 at 0804 P.M.

So compnerd4, if you are out there, lets hear from you.

I will only offer that I made a deal with him, and all came out fine in the end. I was pleased with the outcome.

I'm in the same boat. Paid $5 to compnerd4 for compact flash cover for X31. He said he shipped it but never received it. Said he would send me another one but haven't heard from him since my last PM earlier this week. Only $5 so I'm not losing sleep over it

could he be shipping from a long distance? sending a package the cheap way can take up to 2 months when traveling a long way.

he's near toronto and I'm in Vancouver...sure Canada Post sucks but 15 business days for regular post is generally the longest.

same country, yea deffinately rules that out. maybe you can take a road trip? ive been tempted to do so a few times

I will also add to this discussion that more often than not these matters are resolved. I'm locking this as this should have been posted in the negative feedback thread, which was created for that purpose.

unless compnerd4 sorts this out soon with these buyers he will be banned..
