WTTF: laptop (cheap) > Office 2007, hdds, RAM, & more

I just sold off my R60 to pay for my wife's car problems, thinking I'd be ok with my T60 for school. Unfortunately, the school is still being stupid in regards to 64 bit Vista & Cisco. I had the issues worked out, but after yesterday morning's reformatting to fix a ghost CD issue (I think Daemon Tools got messed up during one of the restores), I lost WiFi access at the school.

So, I'm looking for a cheap wireless-capable laptop. Unfortunately, I'm low on cash. Not low on parts though! I'm thinking something P3 based, T2x, X30 would be absolutely perfect, but I'll entertain just about anything. I'm desperate more than picky.

Laptop parts:
-1x 1024mb PC5300 Kingston (New): $30
-1x slim laptop DVDRW drives: $35 (HP OEM faceplate, but drives are universal for a non-hotswap connector, GMA4082N)
-Toshiba PA3399U-1BRS battery. New, but a few marks on it from storage: $30
-3x Kensington MicroSaver Locks (keyed) (New): $15 per
-DuelAdapter PCMCIA to Expresscard (New): $60

Storage:
-1x New black LiteOn DVD(New): $15
-1x Hitachi 3.5" 200gb SATA HDD
-1x Hitachi 2.5" 40gb SATA HDD

Software:
New Microsoft Office 2007 Student & Home 2007: $90

Peripherals:
-Logitech MX Duo Elite (wireless Logitech Elite keyboard + MX700 mouse): $30
-(New) HP Media Center Remote (Vista Edition) w/ IR Receiver: $30

Networking:
-New Netgear PCI 802.11G card: $25
-New DLink Antenna: $25
-New TrendNet USB 2.0 802.11G card: $25

Cameras:
-Kodak EasyShare C360 5.1 MP digital camera w/ 256mb & 512mb flash cards, all manuals, USB & RCA connectors, & case.
-Minolta Maxxum QTSI SLR camera w/ 35-80mm lens w/ manuals

Other Stuff:
-Duron 1.1ghz w/ HSF: $15
-geForce 4 MX w/ low profile bracket (DVI, DVI/VGA, S-video, S-video-RCA)
-Beige ATX Chassis w/ PSU, floppy, LITEON CDRW, floppy, 2 case fans (Springfield, IL Pickup: $20)

I'm not interested in the 2.5" SATA drive since my laptops aren't SATA compatible, but for those who may be, what's the capacity of the drive?

I've fixed that.

Somehow I remembered the capacity of the 3.5, but not the interface; remembered the interface of the 2.5 but not the capacity.

D'oh!
