Hiya,

on purchasing my new T40, my beloved T23 has to sadly say goodbye to my home, and move on to another. She has been so good to me, no tantrums (a bit hormonal at times but hey we got on fine like that), and always been there when I needed her.

So.

This machine cannot be shipped until end of June this year - as I still need it until I bugger off to the US for a month and a half to collect the T40. My 560Z resides as a server, and has no apps on it, just Windows 2000 Server, PHP and MySQL. Then there's the 560X, solid state and a fantastic laptop, but it runs Windows For Workgroups 3.11 (before you scoff at this, see my website for how much this configuration can really do), but all the same, I'm used to the T23's luxuries. So end of June onwards.

The specs are:
  • Thinkpad T23 Model constructed with robust titanium composite
Pentium III 1.13GHz Tualatin Processor (as fast as a Pentium 4-m 1.5GHz)
    20GB 5,400RPM Fujitsu Hard Disk
    512MB of PC133 memory, upgradeable to 1GB
    8x DVD-ROM Drive
    1.44MB Floppy Drive
BRAND NEW 14.1" TFT Display, 1024x768 resolution
    BRAND NEW UK keyboard
    2 x USB Built In
    Serial Port
    Parallel Port
    CRT/Monitor Out
    PS/2 Mouse/Keyboard socket
    Ultraport
    S-VHS/S-Video TV Output
    2 x PC-Card 32bit (Cardbus) slots
Stereo In, Microphone In and Audio Out
    Built in Microphone
    56K V90 Modem built in
    10/100Mbit Ethernet interface built in
    Battery (holds weak charge)
    AC Power adapter and charger
Windows 2000 Professional with Windows 2000 sticker License on bottom of machine
    Carry Case
    Robust and excellent condition unit.
    A mere 1.3" thick.
Asking price? Well, make me an offer. Must be a sensible one in lieu of the fact that this is a fine example of a T23, been in constant use daily and not even a sniff of a problem. The LCD was replaced due to degredation at the bottom and keyboard replaced when I wore out half the keys (me, type too much... naaaaaah!).

It will be polished up to look new.

Thanks,
Vicky
