2374-K5U What should be a reasonable price for T42?

#1 Post by bilalmuddassir » Thu Nov 08, 2007 3:06 am

Hello people,

I am wondering what is a reasonable or minimum price for a T42 model 2374-K5U with 1 GB RAM, 100 GB 7200 rpm HDD, 14.1 1400x1050, built-in WLAN (no built-in BT), 9 cell battery (used for 1.5 years), everything else standard.

Any warranty on the machine? If so, how much?

Without warranty, my opinion would be that up to $550 would be a reasonable price, and add up to $100 onto that if it does have a warranty (depends on how much is remaining as to how close to the $100 I'd add on).

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to add it has DVDRAM in it. Does the price change a bit? Let me try to find out about warranty? Is there an online way to find out?

Punch in the details required on this pageand you'll find out about the warranty. As for the optical drive, it may add a little bit of value - not too sure how much though, but my guess may be around $20 to $30.
