Well i wasn't sure if i was gonna sell my T42 (See HERE) and keep this T43. While the T43 is nicer faster and has more features, im attached to my T42 for whatever reasons

So without delay:

Original description: P M 750(1.8GHz), 512MB RAM, 60GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X300, CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-Burner, Intel 802.11abg wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, Fingerprint Reader, 9 cell Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

Warranty is till January, 2009 so the machine is barely over a year old and hasn't been used that much since it was bought.

Also when i get the items i'll update for sure or not but as of now it should come with a SECOND 9 Cell battery or i can probably trade that for a 6 Cell. There should also be a docking station (not a port replicator) but i didn't get that yet.

It now has 1GB of RAM but i guess i could probably boost that up. Since the options from the T42 are compatible i might be able add some of the accessories to this sale if the price is right.

Keyboard - No aka ZERO shine
Edges - Small wear and tear
LCD - Perfect
LCD casing - no scratches (probably micro ones)

I know the feeling about not selling the "best" spec laptop and keeping the one you feel more comfortable with. I enjoy my T30.

Had a few queries and some crazies but machine still for sale.

Updated warranty which i thought was 06/2009 but is actually 01/2009. So 5 months less than i thought, dunno what drugs i was on that day that i saw 06.

well guess i'll just put first price drop in this but it's probably the only one.

You're pretty much comparing apples and oranges here...these are two entirely different machines, with little in common apart from IBM logo.

The price asked for this T43, given its specs and remaining warranty, is very fair. I've sold a bunch of them for more than this as recently as two weeks ago.

well i guess for now i'll just say Sale is pending at the current price. I was really hoping to get my original price but oh well Such is demand and pricing in this business.

If the Z series works good for you then surely you should get that instead.With that said, you can get a brand new Dell for $500 but then again there's a reason Thinkpads (and then the T series) sell for more than other laptops (and the other series from IBM).

My girlfriend got her Dell not so long ago (last year) and warranty is gone and it's already busted several things in it. Her charging port doesn't work, (using external battery charger), The screen is wobbly like hell, the paint is coming off the palmrests, and yeah it's also big and heavy
