Works!!
Complete notebook, has a hard disk drive, 9.5" monochrome screen,(diagonal measurement,) with dark or bright adjustment button, also has a slide button to further adjust this stunning display! All keypad buttons are there, working power supply, Has DOS on it, and some kind of program called The Canada Life Assurance Company. Hinges work, and are not broken, volume adjustment, 1.44mb floppy built in, LPT1 port, 9 pin comm port, VGA port, ps/2 port, docking port.
Pre ergonomic
11.75" wide, 8.5" deep 1.8" with cover closed
Battery does not hold a charge,
Missing the plastic cover for the ram slot. Looks like it takes 72 pin SIMM, I think it has 2mb of ram, Can include a 72 pin SIMM with sale.

Due to the quality and rarity of this system I am anticipating an severe influx or responses so please bear with me while I try to answer all these messages

I just picked up one of these on eBay...it was supposed to be working, but it is dead. :-(

What kind of price are you looking at for this one?

I was just being funny (or trying to be anyhow!) when I posted this.

It would probably cost me $15.00 to get it to the post office so that plus whatever it costs to ship it to you.

I really cannot tell you much more than what I did in the post, I no longer have any DOS programs to find out the machines specifications, and about all the DOS commands I can remember is to change directories.

If you give me an extra $10 I will go find the DOS disks (dos 6.*) I have and I am quite sure I still have Windows 3.1 and or 3.11

I have a 4mb and a 8mb and a 16mb 72 pin simm as well $5 $10 & $15 respectively.

Let me know what you think
Have a good one
Chad

I also need a couple good working sticks of memory so would be willing to workout a trade of some sort.
I need 2 - 512mb Pc2100 SODIMM or 2 - 1gb PC2100 SODIMM

With luck this memory upgrade will make my ThinkPad quit thinking soo much. (I only have 512mb in it right now and Win XP Pro)

I am not partial to the type of memory so long as it is in good condition and works in my ThinkPad. I can get new Kingston VR for $80 for the pair in Canada (total of 1gb)

I am also interested in a CD/RW or a DVD/RW that will fit in my ThinkPad A31

A good A31 battery.

Or . . . ?
