SOLD: Cosmetically nice condition T42 with the documented GPU problem, see here for more info on issue --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=33952

The plastics look very good to excellent, the keyboard shows some wear (but is Thai), the palmrest looks very good to excellent. The USB ports work at high speed - the only issue is the flakey GPU. With pressure on the keyboard, it works great. The LCD is bright with two to three pin head sized bright spots, not normally noticeable during use.

$150 plus $9 shipping delivered in U.S. Perhaps you can fix or send out for fixing?

This is a bare bones machine. It includes a cosmetically nice case, good LCD, CPU, fan, modem, COA, etc. Several parts have been removed, please see notes below.

why didnt you log it for repair when you originally posted the GPU prob in last year? they would have switched out the mobo for you at no cost to yourself (which fixes GPU prob)
o well its old anyway
