Looking for a friend-newer laptop...

A good buddy of mine asked me to keep an eye out on a newer thinkpad for him.
I think he has about $700.00 to $900.00.(maybe little more for the right laptop).
He would like to buy aa new-in-box thinkpad.
What can he get for this price...???
Passalong or post any offers and i'mm make sure he gets them.
