hi, i'm relatively new to the forum and i've found it quite helpful.

i have a barely used x61s. i bought it this summer and it's a great laptop, but i just don't have use for it right now and i need the money. i have everything in the box and it's in great working condition. in short, it's an intel centrino core 2 duo processor running @ 1.6 ghz w/ 60 gb hd and 2 gb ram. it also has built in cingular wwan. i paid $1500 for it in july. detailed specs are below. i also have the slice. i realize that prices have dropped appreciably, especially with the sale going on. my asking price starts at $1100 with the media slice.

i could be interested, does it have the UltraLight screen?

You can probably get more total return if you sell the laptop and the media slice (X6 Ultrabase) separately.

That said, I am interested in the X6 Ultrabase. What optical drive do you have in it?

laptop only for $950, $150 for the media slice w/ multi-burner, $100 with cd-rw/dvd-rom combo. reasonable offers welcome.

futangclan, welcome to the forum. Would you please tell us how much warranty remains? Also, you should consider posting an ad on Craigslist besides this one.

i bought it with the base warranty, so the warranty expires july 15, 2008.

i have thought about Craigslist, but the problem with that is the scammers always flood my e-mail box and it proves to be more hassle than its worth.

Which multi-burner? Read / write speeds, or FRU please?

Thanks. For the benefit of all other interested buyers, that is the UJ-832B multiburner (does not support DL).

I think I'll let another interested buyer get your X6 Ultrabase. I am going on vacation soon and I won't be needing the dock till late January.
