FS: R50P (flexview) w/ bad motherboard $275

#1 Post by iv76erson03 » Mon Dec 03, 2007 8:33 pm

I have a R50P that has an issue with the motherboard. It was working great for awhile, then locked up and now it won't boot. The power comes on, and the fan spins, but nothing on the screen.

Normal R50P Specs:
P M 1.7GHz, 60GB 7200rpm HDD, 15 UXGA(1600x1200) flexview TFT LCD, 128MB ATI FireGL T2, CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-Burner, IBM 802.11a/b/g wireless(MPCI), Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 9 cell Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro.

Other Notes:
No memory in this machine *Edit: 256 MB is not included.*
Optical drive won't read CD-ROMs, haven't tried DVDs (edit: DVDs work according to previous owner)
Battery Held charge for about 1 1/2 hours.
When the lid is up, it wiggles a little bit. It's not bad, but it's not tight.
Key's are a little shiny, but not too bad.

I don't take paypal, but you can send me anything else. $275 includes shipping and insurance.

Let's just add that the machine offered here has a perfect IPS Flexview UXGA screen...and the media drive does read DVDs...I know because I've tested it...

This used to be a great R50p. Now it makes an excellent parts machine, especially at given price.

Best of luck with the sale.

Bump, and I'm adding 256 MB of RAM into the deal so you have something to start with.
