Does anyone on the forum do this? If so, what are the rates?

I have several X31 motherboard problems:
A: One that won't power on. It was new last year and worked then .. I don't know what happened (maybe storing it in cold weather).
B: One powers on, but no screen - yes the LCD is good.
C: One that gets a "Thermal sensing error" - yes, I have the lastest BIOS

I also have a few T4x motherboards with problems but I haven't had time to document them yet.

Thanks.

This is the kind of work that is so individual and difficult that I would imagine most people wouldn't do it for others. The only company I'm aware of that does this kind of work is First Phase Technologies, which also has an ebay shop for repair work. The only T4x problems I'm familiar with are "flexing" damages to the GPU BGA connections. These can sometimes be repaired by heat treatment, and there are several demonstrations on YouTube.

But my guess is that you're basically on your own in such matters - I wish things were different, too.

Thanks, Robby --
On eBay, they've given me estimates of $125 - and that's more than I want to pay. The boards aren't worth much more than that.
