USB 2.0 low profile cardbus on E Bay
EBay item nbr 110203277718
This seller seems to have a couple of new Apricorn USB cards
They look an awful lot like 33L3245,,Best offer or buy it now cost looks reasonable to me.
(I am not connected with this auction in any way, aside from buying one of these)

After buying TWO of these last night for the "Buy-it-Now" price of $16 each (no discounted shipping so far), I checked his previous sales and saw that one was sold for $13 on a "best offer" auction. Probably should have done that before committing to the BIN

Im curious to ask. I saw the picture but wanted to know if this usb port fits in the pcmcia without it sticking out. I never seen any usb port that does not stick out. If anyone can post pics on how it looks in the laptop, please post. I will probably buy a couple if it does not stick out.

I already have one of these Apricorn adapters at home and I can post a good close-up picture later (don't believe I have already taken one and put it on my web site).
This USB adapter uses a "dongle" to make the two USB connections. The card itself is totally flush with the end of the PCMCIA card cage and is only a single height card. (aka Type II) This means that you can plug another single height card in at the same time. There is a very slim connector on the card, into which you plug the dongle. That short cable adapter then terminates into two standard USB ports.
edit: Here's the IBM page on their version: http://computers.pricegrabber.com/usb-f ... /m/549561/

This
This is an EXCELLENT card, and you can also use the the other slot at the same time.
The only bad news is that it does not put out enough juice to power all devices, but most will work with it.

he gave me a counteroffer of $8 + $5 shipping
I'm guessing $13 is the bottom line

$13 is the spot
I've bought several from him at about $13 shipped. No issues.
So far as I'm concerned, these are rare as hens' teeth.
Get them while you can.
The IBM part typically runs $40 or more.
