Please help in Deciding price of X-41

I know someone who is selling X-41 with following specs.
P-M 1.5GHz,
512MB RAM,
60GB HD,
12.1" 1024x768 LCD,
802.11a/b/g Bluetooth,
modem,
1GB Ethernet,
fingerprint reader,
extended battery (But don't know condition)
No Warranty.
How much can I pay for this system?
Also what are the normal issues of X-series compared to T-series systems?
Are the harddisk's same as T-series or they use different hard-disks?
Thanks
Sandy

First of all, you're dealing with a market that not too many people know well, but I'm going to speak from the U.S. market aspect...
The hard disks are different, X4x series use a 1.8" as opposed to "regular" 2.5" HDD. Maximum size of these is 60Gb, and they're all 4200rpm.
Price is the tricky part. On this market, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a machine with no warranty, if that much-but that's me.

I think, but I'm not sure since this is based on my memory, that around 38000/40000 yen should be the price for something like that.
(sigh, in truth the more I think the more I'm unsure... when I was looking around for a notebook I've checked also x41 models but has been 1 year ago... I could be wrong and the price at that moment could have been 48/50000 yen)
If you have time, I would suggest you to go to Akihabara and check the small shops around there to get an idea of the average prices.
I've a map with some shops marked, if you are interested.

Thanks a lot for replies.
Actually the above X-41 was offered for 30000 Yens.
But I dropped the idea, because of the Harddisk.
I think it is better to stick with Tx series for its extensibility.
P.S : In Akihabara, X-40's are going for 50000~ yens. I think Used Laptops are very expensive in Japan.

I think it's just a question of finding the right shop/occasion.
There are some small hidden places (underground too) in Akihabara where bargains can be found... otherwise there's always one shop dealing only in new thinkpads (and also other 2 brands). They have a lot in stock and I remember they do a not bad discount compared to the retail price (but we are speaking of the japanese retail price).
Last december I've needed 3 days to check, inquire, mess, bargain, etc to find a good price for a notebook.
Casually ended being a Thinkpad...
