I've got a set of CDs for my older T40, but I would like to get a set for the T42. IBM are being difficult, even though the machine is still in warranty.

Many T42s let you burn your own set, depending on what version of R&R it came with. Look under start programs \thinkvantage

Sorry, should have been clearer. This is an ex-corporate machine, hard drive has been wiped. It has a legitimate copy of XP, but no hidden area, so I'm a bit stuck...

I've copied the existing install for security, but I would really like to get a set of the recovery disks, especially since I intend fitting a bigger drive and installing Linux on it in a dual boot configuration.
