Hi, I want to upgrade the memory on my T42 2373-3VU. I would like to buy two 1 GB sticks of RAM. If you have any available, post up! If nothing comes available then I'll buy new before the end of the month.

I am located in Maryland USA.

Thanks!

Hi, were you looking for new sodimms? I have two PNY Optima 1GB PC2700 sticks, both brand new (sealed in blister packaging).

Let me know if your interested, I could sell to you for $125 shipped. I'm in NJ.

i'm also looking for 2 1GB PC2700 sodimms for my t40p, i would like to get PC2100 which is what my laptop can handle, but if the 2700's are cheaper, then it's fine with me.

by the way, pianowizard, would it possible for me to ask you a favor and get the sodimms and send it to me?i can provide you with the funds, if it's ok, can you send me PM?

If of interest, Newegg these days have 1 GB Crucial sticks (high-quality RAM!) available for only $61 --> here. This RAM is Crucial model CT12864X335, with specs: Type: 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM, Capacity: 1GB, Speed: DDR 333 (PC 2700), Cas Latency: 2.5, Voltage: 2.5V, ECC: No, Buffered/Registered: Unbuffered.

I use these sticks in several T42's - always worked perfectly! See the user feedback at Newegg for this RAM (use above link, or see feedback at e.g. Amazon's site --> here), and be convinced for yourself!

PS: According to the thread pc3200 (200 mhz DDR) in T42, possible? you may also use PC3200 in T42's, which might be possible to find cheaper than PC2700.

Best regards,

Johan
