How much is my X61 worth?
I have a Thinkpad X61, and I hate it. Linux compatibility is awful, and battery life is even worse.
The good news is, though, that it's a pretty nice model. I paid $1750 plus tax a few months ago, and would like to get as much of what I paid as possible back.
Anyway, here's the specs:
3-year (now 2 3/4 year) El Deluxo "accidental damage" warranty. If this laptop managed the reputed 3+ hours of battery life and had Linux compatibility as good as my old one, I'd likely still be using it three years from now.
2ghz Core 2 Duo (I'll try and figure out the variant - I'm pretty sure it's the 2mb cache version)
2GB RAM
60gb hard drive
Intel Pro/Wireless 4965 wifi card
I'm hoping $1,000+, as it's got the stupidly expensive warranty.
MOD EDIT: Moved to Marketplace for your sake.

Thinkpads: You spend money to save money.

You can probably call them, and ask for one. Otherwise, start a new thread. We do not have models on our U.S. website yet, but you can call 1-866-96-THINK and order one of the Linux preloaded machines today in the U.S.
