I'm looking for a basic machine for someone who wants a useable machine for her grandchildren. Nothing fancy, just in good shape. I might consider some barebones units depending on whether it's something new enough for me to have drives and memory for it (A/T/X range or maybe a 600X if it has at least 256Mb of memory).

Hi,
As you can see on the Forum, I have a T23 and x30 for sale.
I can barebones either one of these for you (I have the T23 on Ebay now) probably for around $200.
Do you have a preference as to what you want?
Thanks,
Ron

I have a VERY clean 600E that has 30GB hard drive, 416MB of RAM, CD ROM and a strong (2.5 hour) battery that I can sell you for $175 shipped.
It is a Pentium II 400MHz, has a very good 13.3" XGA LCD and what is largely considered to be about the best keyboard ever installed on a laptop.
