Hey everyone, I have a bunch of IBM thinkpad laptops for sale that I have gotten a hold of over the years. I have sold and purchased a few parts on this site, and many on eBay. I will try to regularly update this list.
The computers are complete and working in good condition, but have the OS (Microsoft XP) removed and hard drives wiped clean. I do not have any restore discs or anything, so you're on your own for that. Shipping is not included, and costs $30 per computer.

IBM T42:
Pentium M 1.7GHz, 512mb RAM, 40GB 5400rpm hard drive, DVD drive, gigabit ethernet, ATI Radeon Mobility 7500, 2 usb ports, docking station, AC adapter, warranty expires 5-17-08. $350 SOLD.

IBM T42:
Pentium M 1.7GHz, 256mb RAM, 40GB 5400rpm hard drive, DVD drive, gigabit ethernet, ATI Radeon Mobility 7500, 2 usb ports, docking station, AC adapter, warranty expired. $290 SOLD.

IBM A31:
Pentium 4m 1.6GHz, 128mb RAM, 20GB hard drive, DVD drive, 2 usb ports, docking station, AC adapter. type 2652-J4U. $220

IBM T20:
P3 700Mhz, 256mb RAM, 10GB 4200rpm hard drive, DVD drive, 1 usb port, docking station, AC adapter. SOLD

IBM 390X:
P3 450Mhz, 128mb RAM, 12GB 4200rpm hard drive, CD and floppy drive integrated, 1 usb port, docking station, AC adapter. SOLD

IBM 390X:
P3 450Mhz, 128mb RAM, 12GB 4200rpm hard drive, CD and floppy drive integrated, 1 usb port, docking station, AC adapter. SOLD

Thanks for the space.

Would you specify the display size and resolution?

Interested in a T42. Definitely want to know the model number.

Is the 512 machine a single stick or 2 sticks of 256? if Single, I'd take it, otherwise, I'd prefer the 256 machine.

The type number for both T42's is 2373. One of them still has about 4 months of warranty left on it.
Display size and resolution. The hard drives are wiped, does anyone know a utility in the BIOS that would show display size and resolution?
I prefer MO or certified (cashiers) check for payment, but I can do Paypal as long as you take care of the fees they charge.
I'm holding off on the UK for right now, too much shipping headache, and it would be more than $30 as well.

1 T42 and 1 390X are pretty much spoken for, waiting for payment. Thank you guys for the fast interest.

Just look at the bottom of the laptop, there should be a label with the serial number and the 7-digit machine type (something like 2647-XXX). If you can provide just the model numbers for these machines, all other information including the display resolution can be found from a simple search on www.lenovo.com.

The T42's both have 14.1" screens. I'm not sure if the resolution changes between models, but the graphics card and screen size are posted. I used the type and serial number to look up the screen size and warranty info on Lenovo's site.

Resolution does changes between models. If you don't mind posting the model # here, please do so- it will be of help to potential buyers.

My bad, I thought I posted it. The model number for the T42's is 2373.

The most important part are three characters after the number, like 2373-CWU...they tell the most of the machine's story...

I was just about to put my name on the list for the T42 BUT i just seen the price of it just went up by 50.00 bringing it out of my range.

Well the 50 is only on the one with the warranty, there is still one without a warranty for $290, which was cheaper than the other one anyway. I'm about to update with some T40s which may be something a little cheaper.
Patrick, I didn't get the PM, could you send it again?

EDIT: Both T42's are type 2373-8TU.
Also added A31.

I have attempted to ream you by PM but that does not seem to work. You can reach me at the email address:

webmaster@usdbank.com.

Did you recieve my earlier notes stating that I will take one of the T42s?

email will work better than discussing a transaction on the site.

Thank you,

Patrick

PM's replied to. Sorry everyone in Canada, I've received quite a few PM's from Canadians, but shipping is a little tough for me. The extra cost and hassle with UPS and international shipping at my work isn't quite worth it for me. Again, sorry, but US purchases only for now.

I am interested in the t42 non-warranty model, if you ship it to Switzerland.
My trusty T40p expired 2 weeks ago and I need a replacement pronto.

Bunch of PM's replied to. Thank you guys for the interest. I probably should've spaced the laptops out a little, I'm getting flooded with PM's. Once again, I am not prepared to ship internationally, it doesn't work out well with UPS and my place of employment. Including and not limited to Japan, Canada, Switzerland, and Sweden. Thanks for all of the interest.

In my opinion it's all priced to go. I have much better things to do than get top dollar for these. I do feel bad because putting up lower prices draws the price of all laptops (A31, T42) down, but I really just don't want to hold onto these things. My hobby is motorcycles, not computers.

Still holding out hope that you will change your mind about shipping to Canada :?

A 7lb package (5lb for the laptop + A/C adapter & packaging) costs $23 to ship to Canada via USPS Priority International Mail

I'll give you an extra $20 for shiping to make it worth your while for a total of $150 for the T20.

Orange box? Blue box? Wingnut, PM me with which laptops you're looking at. Toronto is close.
