FS/FT: X30, external cdrw, 2006 warranty

#1 Post by mieske » Wed Nov 24, 2004 9:59 am

I love my X30, I'm a freelance writer so portability is a critical factor. But I want to play World of Warcraft...yes, geeky, I know...but the X30's integrated intel graphics won't handle the game at full throttle. So it's up for sale or trade. Asking $750, fairly firm but willing to listen.

Specs:

1.06 PIII M
256, 1 chip
20gb
802.11b built-in
no scratches, no dead pixels, and I'll polish it up before I sell it.

Willing to meet locally (Chicago) for inspection/sale. Otherwise, can ship only via UPS, tracking provided. Add $20.00 for ground. or specify preference. Payment via paypal + fees, cash or money order. Personal check fine but held to clear.

Interesting trades:
AMD or Intel desktop, min. 64mb graphics card.
Competing notebook, min. 32mb graphics card.
cash +/-

Would this be the 2672-1BU (XP) or 1AU (W2K)?
Do you have recovery CD's?
Is the license sticker intact?

Some buyers might like to know if they would have to buy an upgrade to XP.

When does the warranty expire?
Machine-Project: 750P, 600X, T42, T60, T400, X1 Carbon Touch

Answers below:

I don't have the cd's, but the recovery partition is intact.

She's running XP Pro, intact license number on bottom of unit.

Warranty expires mid-2006....I believe June *but* I'll have to double check.
