So about a month ago I started having trouble with my trusty Thinkpad... (to make a long story short, skip down) mainly I had trouble getting a solid connection with the AC adapter. Initially this stems from a GPU problem about a year ago, where they had to replace the whole MB (after first replacing the LCD, which was fine it turns out...). Eventually things were sorted out, except that the AC plug was loose - it jiggled unsettlingly freely. Even the technician who came out to repair it had noticed. Anyhow, last month I started having trouble getting any charge, and eventually the computer couldn't connect at all, and I lost all power (after the batter ran out). So I took out a screwdriver, and opened everything up, only to discover that the wire connecting to the female part (which is built into the Thinkpad) had come loose. I thought I could replace it, as the unit is detachable, however I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to wedge it out; it doesn't seem is possible. Here is a photo of the offending region...

Long story short, I'm now parting everything out because of this issue...
I'm not sure if I'm going to sell it all together (if someone has a way to fix this), but I'd like to get about $250 for all of it. Otherwise, Here's a list of parts that are available...

Prices might seem a little high but I haven't parted anything out before, so make me an offer (I'm only a poor college student after all...)
I'll try to post some photos, but if I take too long, just send me a PM and I'll surely get on it much faster...
Thanks for looking, and feel free to bombard me with any questions you have!
P.S. I'd be interested in a Trade... I am desperately seeking a new desktop computer. Something to edit photos with (try editing photos on a 7" screen... irrefutably impossible), school work, etc.; basically something to use when I'm not in class.
P.P.S. Added Photos
